Using VehicleMapper.co.uk website, you agree that you will not:
Use the website in an unreasonable, unauthorized and/or unlawful manner; modify copy, display or distribute the website (or any part of it) unless with permission from VehicleMapper.co.uk; debug, decompile the software and /or use the content for commercial purpose without prior written consent of VehicleMapper.co.uk.
Any and all copyright, trademarks, patents or any other intellectual property in any material or content included in the website is owned by VehicleMapper.co.uk or its licensors. You can only use the content in accordance with these terms and conditions. We grant you a non-commercial use on your own pc, mobile phone or other suitable personal devices.
ORDERS
Submitting an order through the website, email or post will be deemed as a contract to purchase the goods. VehicleMapper.co.uk is entitled to withdraw from the contract in case of error or inaccuracy regarding the goods or the information obtained from the information.
PAYMENT AND PRICES
All prices are in pound sterling unless requested and dependable upon origin of order and are inclusive of postage/carriage (UK mainland only). Shipping varies according to final destination outside the UK. We will advise prior to finalization of order.
Payment will be made through the secure method of PayPal, cheque/postal order. Alternative methods of payment are available only after first order has been made and an account has been set up.
PROCESSING
After acceptance of your order and all payment has been made, VehicleMapper.co.uk will;
– Send an email confirming the order together with date of dispatch
– Provide details of garage/fitter assigned to install the product (if requested)
– Be able to print a voucher to present to the garage/fitter.
– Dispatch will take place within 7 – 10 on completion of order
AVAILABILITY
In the unlikely event that the goods are not available, the customer will be informed immediately and will be offered alternatives either to wait for desired product or be offered similar depending on information received.
PRODUCTS AND SPECIFICATIONS
All our products are subject to quality control and a strict policy of inspection before listed as a product.
All products are subject to availability and maybe withdrawn at any time. Product descriptions are given in good faith, are accurate at the time of publication and are updated as necessary. All products are intended to provide information and if adhered to by the driver can improve fuel efficiency, tyre life and the environment.
RETURNS POLICY
If you are not fully satisfied, or have a query regarding the product following receipt of acceptance, please contact our office as soon as possible either by post or email, within 14 days of placing the order, in order to give us an opportunity to rectify matter. You may cancel or return the goods within 14 days for a full refund of the purchase cost, subject to the following conditions:
Items must be returned in original packaging at your cost and at your risk. Refund excludes delivery charge. You must follow the returns procedure, which will allow you to tell us the reason behind the return.
Any refund for a credit/debit card transactions will be credited to the original card as supplied in the order process. Any refund for cheque/postal order will be credited by means of a credit note.
PRIVACY POLICY
We respect your privacy.
Any personal details you send us as part of the ordering process, registration or through our contact form, will be stored securely on one our dedicated servers. We will not pass your details to any third parties except where necessary to dispatch the goods by carrier and to the garage/fitter.
We will not send you spam mail but would like to maintain contact with you and may occasionally send you information about future products and developments that we deem may be of interest to you. If you prefer not to receive these communications, just let us know at any time.
When you place an order, register or access your account, we use a very secure server and the software encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us.
COOKIES
Our website uses cookies to operate our shopping cart and help us understand how visitors use the website. Cookies are small text files placed on your computer. You can refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser, but some functionality of the site may not then be available to you. By use the site with cookies enabled, you consent to the use of data derived.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement and these Terms shall be construed in accordance with English law, and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Limitation of Service
In order for the tracker to work, it must be turned on, contain charged battery, contain a SIM Card containing credit, and located within your coverage area, amongst other factors. Accuracy of the location information obtained is subject to network capabilities, environmental conditions such as structures, buildings, weather, geography, landscape, and topography, available data, atmospheric conditions and other factors associated with use of wireless networks, satellites and satellite data. In addition, the performance of the services will vary depending on the device you are using. By entering into this agreement, you acknowledge the results you may obtain from the services provided, including but not limited to locations, alerts, maps and messaging may not be accurate, timely or reliable.
You should be aware that services that rely on location information, such as GPS Id, depend on your device’s ability to acquire satellite signals (typically not available indoors) and network coverage. Network coverage and satellite signals are dependent on a number of factors not within the control of VehicleMapper.co.uk including weather, topographical changes, the presence of obstructions such as tall buildings, the functionality of various satellites, clouds, and other factors. In addition, some areas, such as schools, are equipped with cell phone inhibitors that interfere with all phone communications. The services will not work under such circumstances.
Charges
The only payment that you will be making directly to VehicleMapper.co.uk will be for the initial purchase of your tracker, plus, a monthly license fee per vehicle. This is of necessity as we run our own service and the software is the property of VehicleMapper.co.uk.
However, you must budget for the purchase of the SIM card (to be inserted within the tracker). You must also budget for the cost of SMS messages. It is suggested that you purchase 3g sim card.
Credit Checking & Validity
We reserve the right to liaise with credit reference and other agencies with regard to your status and submit information accordingly and in line with relevant legislation.
